Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based environments for development, testing, and production using your expertise in cloud technologies.
Solution Architecting: Collaborate with engineering teams to design robust infrastructure solutions that guarantee application performance, security, and scalability.
DevOps Automation Champion: Lead the effort to automate and streamline our build, deploy, and operational processes, maximizing efficiency and reducing manual work.
Tool Development & Management: Build, maintain, and enhance a suite of internal tools for deployment, monitoring, security, and day-to-day operations within the cloud environment.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for test and production environments, ensuring configuration consistency and version control.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Become the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across cloud platforms and application domains.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and propose process improvements to the current CI/CD pipeline, fostering a culture of continuous optimization.
Technology Advocate: Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud innovations and DevOps best practices, sharing your knowledge with the wider team.
Security Champion: Prioritize the security of our cloud environment by implementing best-in-class cloud security solutions and fostering a security-conscious culture.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential: 6+ years of experience in a modern DevOps role or a Software Engineering role with a strong DevOps culture.
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline practices and their implementation.
Proven experience working with Containers (e.g., Docker) and Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm).
Familiarity with Microservice-based architectures.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Perl, or JavaScript.
Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.
Passion for learning new technologies and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred: Experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis).
Experience with configuration management systems (e.g., Git, Subversion).
Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Zabbix, Prometheus).
Experience with DevSecOps tooling (e.g., Aqua, Kiuwan, Twistlock).
Knowledge of API Management solutions (e.g., Kong, Tyk, Apigee).
Prior experience working with high availability, secure enterprise platforms in the financial services sector (a plus).
