🌿 Team Leader – Outdoor Agricultural Work (East Suffolk)

We’re hiring a Team Leader to supervise one of our specialist field teams. This is a physically demanding but highly rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to grow your skills and work with fantastic people.

🌟 About the Role

You’ll be leading a dedicated team carrying out a range of outdoor farming tasks including field walking, sheeting, and other seasonal activities. While the work is straightforward, it can be physically tough – so excellent stamina and a strong work ethic are essential.

As Team Leader, you’ll be the main point of contact for your team, responsible for supervising, motivating, and supporting them day-to-day. You’ll also ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration with management.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing

Create a positive, open team environment
Set clear goals and expectations
Oversee daily operations and task completion
Monitor team performance and report key metrics
Motivate and support team members
Resolve issues and maintain team morale
Liaise with management and provide regular feedback

Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership qualities – even if you haven’t led a team before, we’ll provide training
Self-motivation and discipline
Great organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, hands-on attitude

📋 Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence (preferably clean) – you’ll be driving one of our vehicles
Smartphone with reliable internet access
Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors
First Aid certificate is a bonus

📅 Job Details
Full-time: 60 hours/week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays during peak periods
Location: You must already live in East Suffolk, ideally near Woodbridge, Ipswich, or Needham Market
