Standby Labourer - TAR Shutdown

Connect Appointments is now taking registrations for Standby Labourers to join an established industrial business based in Grangemouth for a TAR shutdown starting 3 August 2026.

What's on offer?

Approximately 12 weeks of work
Sunday to Friday, 7am to 5pm
£13 per hour (Monday to Friday) and £22.88 per hour (Weekends)As a Standby Labourer, your duties will include:

General labouring duties across the site
Industrial cleaning of property and equipment
Standby and fire watching duties
Assisting client staff as directed throughout the shutdownPlease note: Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and DBS background check prior to being put forward for this role.

To be considered as a Standby Labourer, you will need:

Previous labouring or industrial experience is advantageous
A reliable, physically fit approach to work
Willingness to work weekends as part of the Sunday to Friday pattern
