Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Steel fabricators rate is up to £17ph working a 4 day week.

Mon to Thurs 7am to 5.30pm

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling steel components to precise specifications. Responsibilities-steel fabricator

• Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Reading technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication according to specifications
• Operating fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
• Inspecting finished products for quality control, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve technical issues promptly

Skills-steel fabricator

• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Strong understanding of sheet metal work and assembly processes
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
• Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining high safety standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
