Activus Recruitment Ltd is a leading construction recruitment agency that provides highly skilled professionals to projects across the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced Steel Fixer to join our client's team temporarily in Lossiemouth.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for securing approximately 2.5 tonnes of steel bars in place using wire or clips, ensuring structural stability and adherence to site specifications.

This project will initially be based in Lossiemouth for a couple of months, with the potential to expand to other sites afterwards. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tie and secure steel bars using wire or clips

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Ensure precise placement and alignment of steel reinforcement

• Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

• Physically fit with the ability to lift and work with heavy materials

• Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Valid CSCS card and relevant trade certifications
