Steel Fixer

Pay: £235.00 per day

Job Description:

Orbitech Recruitment are currently looking for Steel Fixers to join our reputable client based in North Lincolnshire.

The duties of a Steel fixer Include:

* Assemble the steel components required to strengthen and reinforce concrete structures such as bridges, reservoirs, etc.

* You will work as a team to position, assemble and fix different shapes and sizes of steel rebar to the correct specifications.

* Cut, bend and connect reinforcing steel.

* Apply general workplace health and safety requirements when undertaking tasks.

* Plan and undertake work practise productively.

Pay:

* £235 p/day (typical 9-hour shift)

Duration:

* 14 - 20 months

Key Skills:

* Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

* Knowledge of working with concrete.

* Previous steel fixing experience.

* Good level of physical fitness.

* Previous use of power tools and machinery.
