Steel Operative

A Steel Operative is required for a large steel processing company based in the Dudley area.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties, operating overhead cranes, driving counterbalance FLTs, assisting on press brakes, saws, CNC machines, lasers and more.

You will be responsible for;

• Assisting on various processing machines
• Operating overhead cranes
• Driving counterbalance FLTs
• Banding up steel

To be considered you need to have similar steel experience operating overhead cranes and some of the machines mentioned above.

The role is working the following mornings / afternoons rotating shift pattern -

• 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday
• Paying £12.50 per hour

This Steel Operative role is a temp-to-perm position with a probationary period through the agency.
