Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver is required for a large steel processing company based in Rowley Regis. It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multi-national steel processing company during a period of growth.

Ideally, you will have an in-date counterbalance FLT licence.

Duties include:

• Manual handling of steel on the back end of a machine line
• Driving a counterbalance FLT
• Packing, stacking and palletising stock
• Assisting with loading / unloading vehicles for dispatch

This position is working days to begin with but you MUST have flexibility to work mornings / afternoons rotating;

• Days - 7:00am - 3:00pm / 1:00pm finish on Fridays
• Moving onto mornings afternoons rotating
• The rate of pay is £12.21 to begin with whilst on days

This Steel Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver position is working on a direct permanent basis - with a permanent contract from day one and no agency period.
