Talent Guardian are proud to be partnering with a growing local business who are looking for a highly organised and hands-on Procurement Executive to take ownership of their inventory and purchasing processes. This is a pivotal role supporting the whole operation, helping ensure materials are in the right place at the right time to keep their projects moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the organisation and cleanliness of the store area, ensuring it remains safe and compliant at all times
Prepare and issue project kits, ensuring materials are ready in line with job timelines
Maintain accurate records of all stock movements using internal systems
Handle incoming deliveries. checking, logging, and storing materials efficiently
Monitor and carry out regular inventory checks to keep stock levels up to date
Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing materials, negotiating costs, and handling returns
Respond promptly to internal stock requests and resolve material issues as they arise
Coordinate logistics to ensure goods are moved safely and reach their destination on time

What We’re Looking For:

Must hold a valid UK driving licence
Comfortable handling goods and working in a hands-on environment
Strong team player with great communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using stock or inventory systems
Well-organised with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
Solid experience in procurement, logistics, or stock management (sector experience not essential)
