Stock Condition Surveyor

Are you a Residential Surveyor / Stock Condition Surveyor looking for your next contract?

1st Select are working in partnership with a growing Property Consultancy that has recently secured several major housing asset management and compliance projects. As a result, we are looking to appoint experienced Residential Building Surveyors / Stock Condition Surveyors to support a range of ongoing programmes.

You will be carrying out stock condition surveys, EPCs and wider data collection, with all information captured using electronic data capture systems (tablet/handheld device). You’ll also work closely with fieldwork managers and data analysts to support survey delivery and maintain high data quality.

Role Responsibilities

Carry out stock condition surveys, EPCs, and related data capture

*

Complete reinspections, QA checks, Decent Homes and HHSRS assessments

*

Liaise with survey managers and support wider survey programmes

*

Work collaboratively with data analysts to ensure accurate reporting

*

Handle confidential information and contribute to housing asset management advice

What We’re Looking For

*

Residential building surveying background

*

Additional compliance skills beneficial (e.g., DEA, NEBOSH, P402/405)

*

Experience using tablet-based/electronic data capture systems

*

Strong knowledge of residential construction and compliance best practice

*

Detail-focused, analytical, and confident communicating with clients and colleagues

*

Willingness to learn—full training provided
