Stock Control Administrator

Job Title: Stock Control Administrator
Area: Thetford
Salary: £13.54 ph OT X 1.5 after 40 hrs
Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 8.00am till 16.30
Job Type: Full-time, 12 weeks Temp to Perm

Main Responsibilities:
• To follow Company Policies, Procedures and Standards in the Company Quality Management System
Operational:
• Taking inbound bookings and updating chess diary with bookings
• Coordinating the good inwards process
• Despatching orders from the chess system
• Reporting customer extra charges from stock movements
• Customer order entry onto chess system and pre-allocated stock shortages report
• Despatching orders from the Chess system
• Front desk/gate controls and driver’s reception
Health & Safety:
• Be aware of the disciplinary implications for displaying any disregard to health and safety matters or the H & S of others
• Look after your own safety and that of anyone who could be affected by the things you do, or don’t do
• Take positive steps to understand the hazards in the workplace and to comply with safety rules and procedures
• Ensure all site inductions are carried out including permit to work for visitors and contractors
• Ensure that the correct PPE and safety equipment is used at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of Housekeeping at all times
Technical:
• To check that products / products storage conditions conform to Customer Specifications and inform relevant management regarding acceptance or rejection of the products
• To ensure that all Company documentation and records are completed as required by the Company Quality System

Other Responsibilities:
• Cover Logistics administrative duties as and when required
• Effective communication and answering phones quickly
• Assisting with perpetual stock checks
• Filing, and other basic admin tasks as necessary
