Stock Controller

Are you an experienced Stock Controller with a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficient inventory management? Reed Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Chatham, seeking a proactive and organised individual to join their team.

• Develop and implement effective stock control strategies.
• Oversee daily stock activities and allocate inventory to fulfil orders.
• Maintain and update inventory management systems.
• Ensure accurate stock records and manage inventory levels.
• Book in delivered stock promptly and accurately.
• Continuously improve stock control systems and processes.

• Proven experience in a stock control or similar role.
• Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain management.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• A collaborative team player.

This role includes occasional travel to a manufacturing facility in Leicestershire, to conduct monthly stock takes as required and due to this you would be required to hold a driving licence and have your own vehicle.
