Stock Controller

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Stock Controller to join their team in Rotherham on a contract basis.

• Maintain and manage stock levels using MRP/ERP systems
• Run and analyse stock reports to support operational decisions
• Carry out regular stock audits and cycle counts
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain material availability
• Ensure accurate input and reporting of inventory movements
• Support continuous improvement in stock control procedures

• Proven experience as a Stock Controller in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Confident in generating, interpreting, and acting on stock and inventory reports
• High attention to detail with excellent numerical and organisational skills
• Willing to get hands-on with physical stock when needed
• Clear communicator and team player with a proactive approach
