Our client is a well-established and growing business operating within a fast-paced supply chain and distribution environment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a motivated and organised Stock Controller to join their office-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a supportive and professional environment. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining supply continuity, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.

The ideal applicant will have strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience within stock control, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous.

What's involved for the Stock Controller…

Maintaining optimum stock levels and preventing overstocking
Monitoring daily stock reports and supporting annual stock audits
Raising daily factory orders and managing bespoke equipment requests
Verifying supplier acknowledgements and supporting demand forecasting activities
Resolving supply chain issues and managing factory delay reporting
Tracking shipments and supporting logistics and sourcing activities
Acting as the main point of contact for incoming goods, collections, and returns
Collaborating with internal departments regarding product quality issues
Managing stock allocation and maintaining month-end slow/obsolete stock reportingWhat you'll need…

Previous experience within stock control, logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
The ability to work accurately within a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and time management skills

Competitive salary dependent on experience
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
