Stone Mason

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Stonemason to work on a stone building in Wigan, carrying out repairs to cracked and damaged stonework.

Duties:

* Repairing cracks and damage to existing stonework

* Carefully removing and replacing damaged sections where required

* Repointing and repairing joints

* Matching existing stonework and finishes

* Carrying out detailed restoration and remedial works

* Ensuring repairs blend seamlessly with the existing building

* Working safely around the building and following site instructions

* Maintaining a clean and tidy working area

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Stonemason

* Previous experience repairing and restoring existing stone buildings

* Strong attention to detail and quality of finish

* Ability to identify and repair cracks and defects in stonework

* Relevant CSCS card preferred

* Own tools and PPE

* Reliable and able to work independently
