Storage Solutions Lead (Block, File, Object)

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as a Block, File and Object Storage SME (Subject Matter Expert), delivering value into sales, pre-sales and partner teams to generate demand and act as an evangelist for our flagship storage solutions around block, file and object.


• Working closely with our EMEA sales teams, presales, partner managers and our alliance team to drive customer engagement and revenue.


• Demonstrating deep market knowledge and specialist technical capabilities in the Data storage solution portfolio – interfacing with customers, partners and product management teams.


• Providing technical validation for deals and new solutions.

• Attending and actively participating in sales and presales meetings, and demand generation activities including seminars, trade shows and key partner events across the EMEA region to promote the Hitachi Vantara solution set and ultimately drive adoption of our offerings in the market 


• Planning and delivering to Hitachi Vantara sales, presales and partner enablement sessions in collaboration with the Global Solutions Leads and local teams with the goal of developing actionable, qualified pipeline.

• Making your own connections at EMEA level into peers in our alliance partners to further enhance the relationship and expertise to offer best in class, competitive solutions.

• Blogs and thought leadership 

What you bring to the team

• You are a proven, customer facing, commercially savvy solutions professional.


• Experience in designing / configuring High End / mid-range block, Object and File storage solutions.


• A background with deployment of Storage Systems and/or administration experience would be advantageous.


• A sound knowledge of industry wide Storage, Object and Converged Data Centre solutions


• Deep domain expertise in Storage solutions, a flair for communicating and positioning complex technical solutions and applying the use of technology to deliver customer driven outcomes that frame the value of the solution.


• Demonstrable knowledge of the Block, File and Object Storage competitive landscape.


• Outstanding communication with a methodical, structured mindset & the ability to deal with ambiguity.
