As a Store Maintenance Operative at Lidl, you’ll play a crucial role in the upkeep and improvement of our stores across your region. From groundwork repairs and plumbing to painting and decorating, this is the ideal role for a motivated jack-of-all-trades, who loves a bit of variety in their day-to-day.

What you'll do

• Carry out structural maintenance in both stores and warehouses


• Attend to general building and labouring work


• Put your decorating skills to good use, including painting and tiling


• Confidently carry out general plumbing duties


• Frequently use power tools


• Undertake PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits to store and work proactively to find and repair faults

What you'll need

• Experience in general maintenance work


• Strong numeracy skills


• Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines


• Flexibility with regards to working hours as some evenings and weekends will be required


• Relevant qualifications are desirable (i.e. NVQ, BTEC)
