Sally Beauty is one of the UK's leading specialist beauty retailers, supplying both consumers and professionals with hair, beauty and nail products.

They stock everything from hair colour, styling tools and skincare through to salon supplies, and work with many well-known professional brands.

The business has stores across the UK and is really focused on customer service, product knowledge and developing people internally. A lot of their managers have progressed through the business themselves.

The role is quite hands-on from a leadership perspective. They're looking for someone who can lead a team, drive sales, coach individuals and ensure customers receive a great experience in store.

It's a retail management role, but because it's a specialist beauty retailer they also place a lot of value on customer engagement, product knowledge and team development.

About the Opportunity

Harbourne Associates are supporting a leading retail business in the professional beauty and consumer sector with the appointment of a Store Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to take full ownership of a high-performing store, leading a motivated team while driving commercial performance, customer experience and operational excellence.

You'll play a key role in delivering sales growth, developing talent and creating an engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.

The Role

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of store performance, ensuring high standards of customer service, team engagement and operational compliance.

You'll be empowered to identify opportunities to grow sales, build local relationships and create a positive and commercially successful store culture.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, coach and develop a high-performing store team.

* Drive store sales and deliver against commercial targets.

* Identify opportunities to grow customer acquisition and sales performance.

* Recruit, develop and retain talent within the team.

* Deliver an exceptional customer experience at all times.

* Monitor competitor activity and local market trends.

* Ensure high standards of stock management and inventory control.

* Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

* Previous Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Retail Management experience.

* Proven experience managing and motivating a high-performing team.

* A strong commercial mindset with experience delivering against sales targets.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* Passion for customer service and retail excellence.

* Ability to coach, develop and inspire others.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Desirable

* Hair, beauty or cosmetics industry experience.

* Retail qualifications.

* Customer service qualifications.
