Store Person (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:

* CSCS Green Labourer Card

* Good knowledge of construction materials, PPE and tools

* Good IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records

* Previous experience working as a Store Person on construction or infrastructure projects

* Experience managing stock control, deliveries and issuing materials

* Good organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong attention to detail

* Reliable and proactive approach to work

* Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance

* Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* Receive, inspect and book in deliveries of materials, PPE and tools

* Issue materials, tools and equipment to site personnel

* Maintain accurate stock records using IT systems

* Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management

* Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control

* Keep the stores area clean, organised and secure

* Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected and recorded correctly

* Liaise with suppliers and site teams to ensure materials are available when required

* Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
