Job Description - Store Person / Telehandler Operator
Teamforce Labour is currently seeking an experienced Store Person / Telehandler Operator for an immediate start on a major infrastructure project in Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with plenty of overtime and weekend work available. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of site materials, plant, and stores while supporting site operations through the safe operation of a telehandler. As a Store Person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site stores and yard, ensuring materials, tools, and plant are accurately controlled, maintained, and readily available to support the project.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Telehandler to load, unload, and transport materials around site Receive, inspect, and sign in deliveries of materials, tools, and plant Issue and record materials, equipment, and plant to site personnel Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records Order and replenish stock as required to meet project demands Keep the stores area and site yard clean, organised, and well maintained Carry out regular stock checks and report shortages Liaise with site management and suppliers regarding deliveries and stock requirements Ensure all lifting and material handling activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures Comply with all site health, safety, and environmental regulationsRequirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:
