Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Stores & Production Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Braintree.
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide administrative support across production, inventory and operational functions, ensuring accurate stock records, effective coordination of materials and smooth communication between production, purchasing and management teams. This is a predominantly office-based role focused on administration, planning and inventory control rather than hands-on stores duties.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records within company systems. • Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements. • Coordinate material availability with production schedules. • Process goods received documentation and update stock systems. • Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and outstanding orders. • Support production planning and scheduling activities. • Produce stock, inventory and operational reports for management. • Investigate stock discrepancies and support corrective actions. • Maintain accurate production and inventory records. • Assist with purchasing administration and supplier communications. • Coordinate internal information between production, purchasing and management teams.
Additional Responsibilities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives. • Assist with operational reporting and KPI tracking. • Maintain accurate filing and documentation systems. • Provide general administrative support across the business. • Support other departments during busy periods.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience within Production Administration, Inventory Control, Planning Administration, Operations Administration or Supply Chain Administration. • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. • Strong Microsoft Excel and administration skills. • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Experience using ERP, MRP or stock control systems would be advantageous.
Working Pattern & Benefits
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm • Benefits: Company Pension, On-Site Parking, Career Development Opportunities • Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
