Stores Assistant – Woore, Cheshire

A fantastic job opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic Stores Assistant to join a busy warehouse team based in Woore, Cheshire.

This job is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong can-do approach. You should be reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a team.

Previous experience in a similar job is desirable, along with good written and verbal communication skills. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices would also be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities for the Store Assistant job:

* Receive, unpack and store goods safely and securely.

* Pick, pack and prepare products for dispatch.

* Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

* Distribute materials and components to manufacturing and production areas.

* Keep warehouse and work areas clean, tidy and organised.

* Follow company Health & Safety procedures at all times.

* Work flexibly and support the wider team as required.

* Undertake other duties associated with the job when necessary.

* Identify training opportunities to support your career development.
