Elevation Recruitment are supporting a West Yorkshire based bespoke manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Stores Leader to drive stock accuracy, reduce costs, and lead best-in-class inventory systems across multiple manufacturing sites.

The Role:
You’ll manage and improve stock control processes across 3 sites, working with Production and Planning to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and performance. With strategic oversight of stores teams, you’ll lead by example ensuring KPIs are hit.

Key responsibilities of the Stores Leader include:

• Lead stock control and stores operations across all sites
• Ensure accurate stock movements, booking, reconciliation, and job allocation
• Drive stock reduction, rotation (FIFO), and availability (OTIFEF)
• Oversee internal transport and 3PL usage
• Improve layouts, Kanbans, and satellite stores for efficiency
• Support audits, stocktakes, and continuous improvement

We’re looking for Stores Leaders with the below skills & experience:

• Previous experience in stock/stores leadership in manufacturing or logistics environments
• ERP experience (ideally MS Dynamics 365)
• Proven ability to improve stock processes and performance
• Strong communicator, data-driven, and hands-on leader
• Experience with Lean or similar methodologies (desirable)
