Stores operative!

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our clients busy team. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse duties with computer-based tasks, so we’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable using a spreadsheet as they are pulling and packing stock.

Job Title: Stores Operative

Location: Ashford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm (on a rota)

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate data entry using Excel and internal systems Email communication with internal teams and suppliers

Picking and pulling items from shelves

Scanning and packing orders for shipment

Checking delivery notes and incoming goods for accuracy

General organisation and tidiness of the storeroom

Requirements:

Computer literate - confident using Excel and email Excellent attention to detail - accuracy is essential

Strong organisational and teamwork skills Physically capable of manual handling tasks

Desirable:

A valid UK driving licence - a bonus, but not essential
