Stores Person

We’re looking for a Stores Person/ Picker to join an established engineering business in Poole, with an immediate start available.

This is a hands-on role within a busy engineering environment, supporting the smooth flow of materials, parts and equipment across the business.

The duties for the Stores Person/ Picker will be: 
Receiving and checking incoming goods
Picking and issuing materials and components
Stock control and regular stock checks
Maintaining accurate stock records
Preparing materials for engineering and production teams
Managing deliveries and collections
Keeping the stores organised and efficient
Liaising with engineering, production and purchasing teamsThe Stores Person/ Picker must have:

Experienced in picking is essential, stores experience would be advantageous 
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Reliable and proactive
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Confident handling stock and materials
Ideally experienced within an engineering or manufacturing settingImmediate availability is highly desirable.
