Stores Operative - Temporary- 4 - 6 weeks.

Our client, a dynamic company is seeking a motivated Stores Operative to support their busy manufacturing environment in Gosfield, Braintree. This exciting role offers an immediate start for an initial 4-6 week assignment, with the potential for a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Temporary
Location: Gosfield, Braintree
Salary: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
As a Stores Operative, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by:

Picking parts and components efficiently for production teams
Ensuring all materials are readily available to meet production schedules
Conducting stock control and inventory checks to maintain accuracy
Receiving and properly storing deliveries
Maintaining an organised and safe stores area
Performing general warehouse and stores duties as required

What Our Client Is Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, stores, or warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders
A reliable and proactive approach to work
The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with stock control systems is advantageous, but not essential
