MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Stores Supervisor to strengthen their current team. The Job You’ll Do:

* Responsible for managing a team of between 2 - 5 stores staff

* Implement overall organisation and structure to the stores department, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the business

* Controlling and allocating parts numbers

* Increase stock accuracy

* Assisting the dispatch team when needed

* Liaising with production and engineering teams to understand their needs and help the company operate more efficiently

* Identify areas for improvement or cost saving

About You:

* Experience working as a Senior Operator or preferably a management position within a stores department

* A background within engineering/manufacturing

* A good level of PC/IT skills (Microsoft Office)

* Experience using ERP systems (Navision is highly desirable)

* Well organised, methodical and a logical thinker

* Able to manage a small team effectively without constant support

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
