What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential

  • Strong technical understanding of wastewater and sewer systems
  • Ability to explain complex information in simple, clear language
  • Experience managing contractors and cross‑functional teams
  • Skills in risk management, governance, and health and safety leadership
  • Ability to work with incomplete datasets and drive innovation
  • BTEC/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS)

Progression opportunities

This role offers opportunities to progress into senior engineering, programme delivery, or specialist environmental roles as the Clean Rivers and Seas programme grows.
