Location: Scunthorpe / Hybrid (3 days a week in the office / 2 days from home)

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with an exceptional manufacturing business who are an industry leader and household name. They are looking to add a multiple up-and-coming and experienced procurement professionals to the team during an exciting period of transformation.

The role sits within the Procurement function, which is central to driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and end-to-end procurement. They are looking for procurement professionals that want to help drive the function forward and improve the already strong foundations through strategic category management.

You'll be part of a team focused on strategic sourcing, vendor management, and internal stakeholder collaboration, reporting to or working closely with other procurement professionals and manufacturing personnel.

They have multiple roles available across direct and indirect categories so whether you have raw materials, services, capex, opex, indirect, or materials experience there is a role that could be suitable for you!

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage tenders and supplier proposals (e.g., RFI, RFP, e-sourcing).
• Engage with internal stakeholders to align sourcing with business needs.
• Monitor vendor performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure full compliance with internal procedures.
• Be responsible for your specific category of spend with the chance to make strategic improvements and be the driver for change within your category.

Experience & Requirements

• 2-3 years procurement experience (ideally in heavy manufacturing, supply chain, or services).
• Experience managing tenders and supplier performance.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
• CIPS membership or qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex information.
