Strategic Planner New Build Housing

TSR are recruiting on behalf of our client, a 5 star, highly reputable housebuilder based in the Northwest. They are undergoing an exciting period of growth which has created an opportunity for a Strategic Planner to join their Strategic Land team.

They have secured a number of sites from the market and have several sites and planning applications which they are looking to bring forward across the business, to help achieve their aim to have at least 60% of homes delivered from strategic sites.

This role will involve working collaboratively with the Senior Strategic Planning Manager to prepare planning strategies for current and future portfolio sites and take these forwards via Local Plan policy promotion and planning applications.

They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of planning experience related to housing (within housebuilding, consultancy, land promoter or local authority) and an accredited degree ideally in planning or the built environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving and research skills and a can do attitude. As the sites are located across the north of England and southern Scotland, a willingness to travel for meetings and site visits is essential. RTPI accreditation is desirable as we can provide mentor support for the APC process.

In return you will receive a basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000 + car or car allowance and bonus.
