Strategic Project Lead (Healthcare) Role: Permanent/full-time Location: Remote
The role of Strategic Project Lead at AYMES brings together both commercial and clinical expertise to bridge the gap between strategy and delivery. In this role, you will lead a portfolio of high-profile projects critical for our success. This is an exciting role within the business, that sits in the heart of the medical nutrition team, driving change and delivering growth.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Medical Nutrition, in this role you will be focused on achieving business results, ensuring that project goals align with the AYMES mission & objectives. You will collaborate across the team to execute project delivery. You will liaise both internally and externally, with the ability to identify and interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support the development of engagement activities to support your portfolio of strategic projects.
Supported by Project Management, you will lead and deliver strategic projects and the development of our strategic project roadmap, your role is to ensure that projects stay on track. You will be resourceful in identifying the best person to collaborate with to make progress and be hands-on in the delivery of the project. You will be commercially minded, with the ability to see “the big picture” and can assist the team in translating objectives into actions.
Ideal candidate: Previous experience in a senior NHS role, ideally medicines management, pharmacist, senior dietitian or similar Experience in a commercial environment Hands-on experience delivering change management
Qualifications & experience:
Background and sector experience within healthcare, Medical Nutrition is a plus, but not essential. Understanding of the NHS Long Term Plan, with strong commercial insight and exposure to project delivery within the NHS or similar environments. Understanding of the rapidly evolving external environments Strong leadership & influencing skills Commercial Mindset Experience in driving new projects or initiatives in healthcare or a similar industry that drives change. Understands the translation of commercial benefits to the financial outcomes of the business. Can demonstrate the ability to work in complex, fast-changing environments. Ability to express complex ideas, clearly and compellingly to both internal & external stakeholders. Ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrable experience in delivering change projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse across all levels of engagement. A confident communicator with effective storytelling skills Experience in KOL engagement and confidence in liaising at different levels. Ability and experience in managing multiple projects and strong prioritisation skills. Excellent attention to detail Solutions orientated Sleeves-rolled-up can-do attitude Team player who can work independently Proactive approach IT literate across Microsoft 365 SUITE and TEAMS
