Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 + package

We're looking for a seasoned procurement professional with serious protein experience-beef, poultry, pork, the works. This is a high-impact role in a key category, driving how we source, negotiate, and manage supplier partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading strategic supplier relationships across all core proteins.
* Balancing cost, quality, and continuity to meet commercial and technical priorities.
* Using market knowledge and cost insights to inform smart, forward-thinking decisions.
* Developing category strategies that reflect trends, sustainability goals, and efficiency.
* Managing risk to protect continuity and create value.
* Producing accurate financial forecasts and planning across short, medium, and long terms.
* Driving quality across product, service, and process in collaboration with suppliers.
* Working closely with Technical, Finance, Supply Chain, and NPD teams.

What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in protein procurement within food manufacturing.
* Strong track record in purchasing high volumes of beef, pork, and poultry.
* Deep understanding of protein markets and wider macroeconomic factors.
* Skilled negotiator with strong commercial acumen.
* Strategic mindset, comfortable with data and planning.
* Collaborative communicator who can influence cross-functionally.
