Strategy Finance Manager

We are exclusively representing a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a fast-paced, PE-backed business as a Strategy Finance Manager, playing a central role in delivering value across a diverse and growing investment portfolio.

Based in Birmingham (with 2-3 days in the office), this high-visibility position is ideal for someone looking to combine technical skills with strategic thinking. You'll be responsible for overseeing valuations, driving portfolio insights and delivering meaningful analysis to senior stakeholders and board-level audiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end valuation and performance reporting process across a diverse investment portfolio.
• Coordinate the annual audit cycle and manage data submissions across internal teams and external advisors.
• Deliver high-quality analysis and board-ready reporting to senior leadership and investment committees.
• Manage one direct report and maintain strong working relationships with deal teams and internal stakeholders.

Key requirements:

• ACA qualified, ideally from a top 10 firm; background in FS Audit or Transaction Services is preferred
• Strong understanding of valuation, financial modelling, and investment reporting
• Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing audit processes
• Analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail

What’s on offer:

• Base salary of £70,000 - £80,000, 20% - 30% bonus opportunity.
• Hybrid working (2-3 days in a Birmingham office).
