Streetworks Administrator - Contract

We are looking for a Streetworks admininistrator assigned to one of our Waste Water Contracts based at our head office in Preston for a 6 month contract

Working Hours & Location

·       Salary: £28k per annum (pro rated for length of contract) 

·       Hours: 42.5  hours per week  7.30 - 4.30 

·       Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston    

As a streetworks administrator you will apply for permits and notice  in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).

Your role will involve:

• Working closely with our team to enable operational delivery of the work to be carried out 


• Manage the coordination of streetworks permits by applying for them on the various systems and ensuring that the permits are in place for the traffic management to be put in place. 


• You will monitor the permit dates and ensure that jobs are closed down if no permit is extended 
  


• Dealing with queries


• General administration duties

About you

• Excellent data entry skills 


• Strong Attention to detail / Accuracy


• Microsoft Office Experience 


• Previous experience of working in a process administration role 


• You must be have excellent communication skills and able to deal with stakeholders within the business as well as suppliers
