Streetworks Coordinator

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Southern Water! We are recruiting for a number of Streetworks Coordinators to be based in our Customer Solutions Centre in Durrington. 

As a Streetworks Coordinator for our Southern Water Contract, you will administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA). 

Your role will involve: 

• Working closely with our Planning and Scheduling teams to enable operational delivery 

• Manage the coordination of streetworks throughout Hampshire, Kent and Sussex and the Isle of Wight  

• Assess applications for and issue licenses where appropriate for skips, scaffolds, hoardings, oversails, banners over the highway and any other future related issues 

• Operate the Street Works Register for the planning of works and events being organised on the highway. 

• Working pattern - 37.5 Hours, Monday - Friday
