• This is a 6-month contract role with a local authority, offering a rate of £24.91 per hour under an umbrella arrangement. The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the coordination, oversight, and enforcement of streetworks activities across the highway network. The role is crucial in ensuring adherence to the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act (TMA), and related regulations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in minimizing disruptions for road users, maintaining precise statutory records, overseeing utility works, managing defects, and aiding the Council in fulfilling its network management and highway authority responsibilities.
