Strip Fitter

kolt recruitment are looking for a strip fitter to join a well-established accident repair centre in tonbridge. this is a full-time, permanent position within a busy and professional bodyshop, offering long-term stability and consistent work.
key responsibilities

* stripping vehicles prior to repair

* removing and refitting panels, trim and components

* identifying additional damage and reporting to the workshop controller or vda

* ensuring parts are stored, labelled and refitted correctly

* working closely with panel and paint teams to meet repair deadlines

* maintaining a clean and safe working environment

requirements

* previous experience as a strip fitter or met technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop

* good knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes

* ability to follow manufacturer repair methods

* strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

* ability to work independently and as part of a team
