Structural Detailer

Structural Detailer (Tekla) | Leeds | Full-Time | 37.5 Hours

I'm currently working on behalf of a well-established specialist steelwork contractor to recruit an experienced Structural Detailer to join their team based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business with an outstanding reputation for designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke architectural steelwork, including complex staircases, balustrades, and structural metalwork projects across the UK.

The company delivers everything from bespoke one-off installations to large-scale, multi-site developments, making this an exciting role offering a varied project portfolio.

The Role

As a Structural Detailer, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you'll ensure projects are accurately detailed and delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce accurate 3D Tekla models and detailed fabrication/construction drawings for architectural metalwork.

* Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop compliant detailing solutions.

* Liaise directly with clients to resolve technical queries and ensure drawings meet project expectations.

* Maintain accurate drawing registers, revisions, and associated project documentation.

* Work collaboratively with the wider project and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience as a Structural Detailer using Tekla Structures.

* The ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with a strong attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills and confidence when liaising with clients and project stakeholders.

* A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Previous experience within architectural metalwork, staircases, balustrades, or structural steelwork would be highly advantageous.
