You will like

The Structural Engineer job role itself where you will be involved in all aspects of the design process and work with our in-house tools to create a bespoke design engineering solutions for customers. Working closely with the sales department to understand the customer’s brief and their ultimate aims for their new structure. More specifically:

• Delivery of concept and detailed structural schemes to Sales and Design.
• Calculations of cold-formed steel structures to prevailing standards (EN codes and storage industry standards).
• Ability to explain calculations.
• Involvement in product tests & interpretation of results.
• Develop software to standardise calculation processes.

You will have

To be successful as Structural Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

Essential

• Graduate with MEng/BEng/BSc or equivalent in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Structural design experience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of steelwork design codes.
• Effective communication skills and work well within a team.

Desirable

• Experience with thin-gauge steel.
• Experience within the storage industry.
• Proficient user of CAD.
