We are delighted to be working with a Civil and Structural Consultancy in Plymouth with multiple offices, helping them in their search for an experienced Structural Engineer.

• Projects include; high value bespoke houses for exclusive clients, volume housing, distribution centres for major brands and various commercial buildings across the South West
• This business takes software very seriously and has invested in the latest releases of Tekla and Revit

The role….

We are looking for a Structural Engineer, ideally working toward chartered status with the IStructE or ICE to join in a technical design role. This person will be expected to progress to a senior level through a structured CPD programme.

Key criteria:

• Supporting the delivery of projects from the structural side of the business
• Ensuring timely technical delivery on small projects while assisting with the delivery of aspects of larger schemes
• Building and maintaining good relationships with clients, architects and contractors
• Taking an active role in developing your experience and achieving career objectives
• Acting as the lead point of contact on smaller structural projects gradually increasing in size commensurate with experience
• Building the company’s profile by attending networking and industry events

On offer….

• A basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000
