We are delighted to be working with a modern and busy structural engineering consultancy, helping them with the growth of their regional office in Birmingham.

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer from graduate to intermediate level.

The team as it stands is small, however tackles schemes up to £125m in construction value so punches well above it’s weight. Projects are focused on the West Midlands so there is stacks of opportunity to have a positive impact on the local landscape.

Projects typically include:

• Highrise residential
• Challenging refurbishments
• High end hotels

Responsibilities:

• Supporting senior engineers and directors on the design and delivery of building structures of varying types
• Liaising and coordinating with various stakeholders
• Attending meetings with clients, contractors and architects
• Taking part in regular CPD activities, developing your own knowledge and actively working toward chartered status

Required experience:

• A degree in either civil or structural engineering
• Knowledge of EuroCodes and traditional building materials
• Experience working with the design and analysis of building structures, either new build or refurb
• Software knowledge, ideally; Tekla suites, AutoCAD and Revit
