Job Description - Structural Engineer

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for Graduate Structural Engineers to join a client who are a leading firm in the engineering sector based in the Midlands.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of structural projects
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation
Utilise industry-standard software for structural analysis and design
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on all projects

About You

Recent graduate with a degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to travel to various sites as required
Eagerness to learn and develop within the field of structural engineering
A proactive approach to work and a keen eye for detail
