The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to work on an exceptionally varied workload on a number of different developments ranging from residential, commercial, industrial, retail, health, leisure, education and renewables. Furthermore, we are involved with structural inspections, appraisals and report preparation. We have a significant number of new build and refurbishment schemes which offer a wide range of interest and experience to the successful candidate. The variety of projects means you will likely be involved in elements of work you have not experienced before.  We pride ourselves in developing the skills and experience of our staff, so if that sounds appealing to you then this is the opportunity for you.

You:

The successful candidates will hold a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering and will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in building structures and software for analysis and design.

This role is aimed ideally at structural engineers with over seven years’ experience who are chartered/close to charterer with either the ICE or IStructE. You should possess excellent written/oral communication skills, offer strong presentation and design skills, be highly motivated and used to working in a team and delivering to tight deadlines. As an essential and integral part of the Structures team we need the successful candidate to have a passion for improving the built environment and be interested in design and sustainable design principles and be a role model and mentor for more junior engineers, teaching them how to deal with technical problems and how to successfully manage projects and clients.  You will also be client facing and we will help develop your commercial and client management skills.
