Salary: Up to £36,000 per year

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Structural Steel Fabricator to join our clients team in the manufacturing of structural steel and industrial buildings. This is a hands-on role requiring strong MIG welding skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding to a high standard
• Reading and working from engineering and detailer drawings
• Marking and identifying materials from fabrication packs
• Dressing and finishing steel components
• Ensuring finished products meet specifications
• Problem-solving during fabrication processes
• Operating workshop machinery safely, including bandsaws and drills
• Fabricating customer orders to a high standard within set timeframes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Competence with workshop equipment and machinery
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
