An exciting opportunity arise for people who have strong experience working with Tribal SITS in Registry and Admissions functions, to come in and deliver operational enhancements as well as to have strategic oversight on how student data is managed and utilised.

Location : Hybrid - Vibrant campus in Dundee / 3 days a week
Salary:

£35,308 - £44,000

Essential skills:

Strong understanding of

Student Record System(SITS)
Attention to detail, proactive and takes a self-starter approach
Excellent communication skills
Strong stakeholder management skills (influencing at all levels)

Desirable skills:

Knowledge or experience of statutory returns (HESA DF, HESES, ITT, Graduate Outcomes, etc)
Experience working directly with senior management teams
Experience with SQL scripting and Data Visual platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, etc)

The Role

This would be a great opportunity for the post holder to come in and work with motivated and skilled registry team under the fees and records manager to make a difference in how data is stored and implement best practises. As well as this they will have the chance to drive best practise with HESA Data Futures data fields in relation to student data quality/processing; allowing the post holder to develop and improve Dundee´s information management capabilities for data sharing internally and externally.

Reporting to the Student Records and Fees Assessment; you will be responsible for the operational quality of data that doesn’t change in frequency to act as a reference as a guide for incoming data, linking between admissions and registry course information.
The role will involve working closely with the Strategic Planning, SITS Development, as well as the leadership team, to report progress, actions and overall risks to data quality and ensure it is as high as possible by writing reports, and conducting data cleansing. You will have strong stakeholders’ management skill sets, because this is a role that will give you autonomy to make an impact how data is processed but also how you contribute to your own professional development.

One of the key working streams the post holder will be involved with is the empowerment of data owners within the organisation in faculties, supporting the records and fees manager in taking the next steps towards accountability supporting relevant teams to drive that. They will have the opportunity to utilise your systematic approach to tease out the complexity presented from current data processing and overseeing the end-to-end management of student information.
