The ideal candidate for the role of Student Support Assistant must be able to communicate effectively with young people, be confident, committed, and calm. A desire to work with young people and be part of a team is essential.

This Student Support Assistant role in Slough may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
* Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
* Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
* Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
* Keeping track and recording pupil progress.

This Student Support Assistant role will give you essential experience and training, working with children who need that extra support and care to progress.
