STUDENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT - Student Support/Medical
Actual pro rata salary range is £8,098 to £8,226 per annum
13 hours per week/2 days per week/40 weeks per year/Term time only
(Paid for 46.2 weeks to include holiday payment)
Working hours 8.30am-3pm – actual working days to be agreed upon appointment
To provide a lead role in the medical care of all our students within our student support medical room. This role will ensure all school staff are aware of particular medical issues/healthcare plans for those students. To accurately update and manage student data in an effective and timely manner, ensuring confidentiality is maintained and data is accessible to the relevant parties.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent people skills and be able to empathise and build rapport with young people whilst maintaining an authoritative approach. The role also requires someone with administrative experience and familiarity with a range of computer applications. The role will also involve contact with parents/carers in respect of the welfare of our students.
