Sub Agent

We are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major roundabout improvement scheme in Bristol.

This is a six-month contract with an immediate start, overseeing the delivery of key packages including earthworks, drainage and kerbing.

Key responsibilities

* Managing the safe and efficient delivery of site operations.

* Supervising earthworks, drainage and kerbing activities.

* Coordinating subcontractors, site engineers and suppliers.

* Monitoring programme, quality and productivity.

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

* Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and site documentation.

* Producing progress reports and maintaining accurate site records.

* Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Sub Agent on highways or civil engineering projects.

* Strong background delivering earthworks, drainage and kerbing packages.

* Good understanding of NEC contracts.

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

* HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering is desirable.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.
