Sub-Agent

We are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Sub-Agent for their growing team in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sub-Agent or Senior Site Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will support the Site Agent and wider project team in the delivery of civil engineering works, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.

As the Sub-Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Supporting the Site Agent with the day-to-day management and delivery of site activities.

· Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works progress in line with programme.

· Monitoring productivity, quality and progress across the works.

· Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction information to ensure works are delivered correctly.

· Maintaining accurate site records, reporting progress and assisting with programme updates.

· Ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

· Previous experience working as a Sub-Agent, Site Agent or Senior Site Engineer within civil engineering.

· Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and site operations.

· Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

· Good understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

· Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills with a proactive approach to project delivery.
