We are seeking a Subject Lead for BA Business Management at specialised HE institutions based in central London. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of innovative business leaders by managing and delivering a comprehensive and dynamic curriculum. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing student retention and success through effective teaching strategies and strong industry connections.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of both current and newly validated BA Business Management curriculum.
• Provide leadership and support to staff, ensuring high standards in teaching, curriculum development, and assessment.
• Collaborate with the Course Director to enhance the curriculum and participate in research or professional practice to maintain subject, practice, and pedagogic awareness.
• Engage in the creation of teaching materials and programme design with a focus on discipline-specific modules such as Marketing, Finance, Project Management, and more.
• Teach across various schedules including evenings and weekends, depending on the needs of the department and personal preferences.
• Maintain strong industry links to enhance the practical learning experiences for students.

• Must hold a relevant BA and postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• A teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent) is essential.
• A PhD or higher-level research degree and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy are desirable.
• Proven track record of teaching and assessment in a Higher Education environment.
• Experience in curriculum design and development along with the creation of innovative course materials.
• Strong ability to engage in and promote research or professional practice that contributes to the discipline.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with staff and students.
